Platinum44 Style and substance from Hörmann

With one of the most comprehensive selections of composite doors on the market, Hörmann has invested in a range of additional products which provide something different for installers and consumers alike. Their new Platinum44 is an attractive, contemporary steel door which has been designed to provide installers with a high-performance door at a competitive price point.

The door leaf of the Platinum44 is manufactured with an insulated polyurethan core and a galvanized steel surface which makes it resistant to twisting and warping. It is set within a steel reinforced PVC outer frame and is fully accredited meeting Building Regulations parts M, L and Q.

The door features the unique Colourcoat Prisma textured surface, a revolutionary three-layer coating system which provides a robust yet beautiful finish, providing the highest standards for corrosion and UV resistance. The result is a door that is low maintenance, able to withstand the test of time and will continue to look good for years to come.

With a 44mm thick door leaf, high security multi-point locking systems and Kinetica 3-star locking cylinders – Platinum44 has been extensively tested against all forms of attack and has achieved Secured by Design accreditation.
